Together we walk!
This year, I’ll be taking part in The Marsden March to support the incredible work of The Royal Marsden. In 2024, my mum was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, a moment that changed everything for our family. She is my best friend and my rock, and facing a diagnosis we knew nothing about was terrifying.
Multiple Myeloma is a treatable but incurable blood cancer, affecting around 6,000 people in the UK each year. It is a relapsing cancer, meaning patients face cycles of treatment and remission. Thanks to these lifesaving treatments and my mum’s strength and resilience, she is currently in a good remission, something we are incredibly grateful for.
Walking 15 miles is nothing compared to what cancer patients endure every day, or the lifesaving work carried out by the nurses, doctors and researchers at The Royal Marsden. By donating, you’re helping them continue to deliver world‑class care, advance vital research and bring us closer to kinder treatments and one day, a cure.
