Working up to this years' Banham Marsden March

Once again, I am doing the 15-mile Banham Marsden March, between RMH Chelsea to RMH Sutton in order to support The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre in memory of my beautiful wife, Susie Whitmarsh and because of the fantastic angels at Royal Marsden Hospital, who cared for her during her time there. By donating to my page their nurses, doctors, and research teams can provide the very best care and develop life-saving treatments. Together, we can save the lives of cancer patients everywhere.

This year my dear friend, Martyn Shearer, is joining me on the walk. His wife, Shirley, is currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer right now.

Thank you for supporting me today.  It means  a great deal  to me.

We made it!

Thursday 14th May
Dear all,

Big thank you to all of you for generously donating. I just did the walking, which was a lovely day, but you all donated your hard earned cash.
Not only does this help patients at Royal Marsden Hospitals but it helps the massive research work behind the scenes to improve cancer treatment for everyone, everywhere. And it is working.
You never know what is around the corner so this is such and important cause.
It was so wonderful to walk with my good friend Martyn this year and important for him too. My think there were over 7,600 walkers registered this year! Amazing.
It was cooler weather this year so ideal for walking. Just some spots of rain at the end. But we had an ice cream, again remembering darling Susie, who always enjoyed a 'Mr Whippy'!
Thank you again, well done everyone.

1 week to go for the annual walk for the RMH Cancer Charity

Sunday 3rd May
Yes, this time next week myself and my friend, Martyn Shearer, along with about 7000 other lovely people, will be walking the 15-mile Banham Marsden March, between Royal Marsden Hospital Chelsea to RMH Sutton to help raising funds for the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. Not only will this help the doctors, nurses and staff who are angels caring for patients with cancer but also the researchers improving cancer treatments of patients everywhere.
This is so close to my heart as my late wife, Susie, who was cared amazingly in RMH Sutton during her treatment, which gave her more time to enjoy are family and meet her youngest granddaughter.
Thank you all for donating for this important cause. My moto now is 'you never what is around the corner, enjoy life now, don't wait'. So this will help everyone with cancer in the future. Thank you all.
Love from
Adrian
