Once more around the sun
A year comes round pretty quick. Almost one year on from when we first participated in the Banham Marsden March and Paul remains stable on treatment. As well as the excellent care and support provided by the Royal Marsden, this year we have also benefited from the new Oak Cancer Centre, a state-of-the-art research and treatment facility funded by the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. To say 'Thank You' for all the Royal Marsden do for cancer patients and their families, the boys and I are once more taking part in the Banham Marsden March at Home. We were so grateful last year for the donations to our team page, and the boys were delighted when they received medals for their fundraising efforts. This year we're thinking St Agnes to Porthtowan, but the route remains undecided at present. What we are certain of is that a) the boys would really really like medals again (they are only 7 and 8 and walked 8 miles last year) and b) how worthy this charity is and the material difference they make to lives of cancer patients. So please, if you can, sponsor our walk, help make two little boys very happy and, most importantly, help the Royal Marsden Charity continue to support the work of the Royal Marsden in providing the very best care and developing life-saving cancer treatments. Thank You.
