Saturday 28th Mar’ve signed up to take on a 15-mile charity walk in support of cancer awareness and research — and it’s something very close to my heart.
Like so many people, I’ve seen first-hand the strength, courage, and resilience of friends and family who have faced cancer. Some are still fighting, some have come through the other side, and some we carry with us in memory every single day. Each of them has shown a level of bravery that is truly humbling.
This walk isn’t just about the distance — it’s about walking with purpose. Every step I take will be in honour of those incredible people. On the tough miles, I’ll be thinking of their strength, their determination, and the battles they’ve faced with such courage. That’s what will keep me going.
I’m training hard and pushing myself, but it’s nothing compared to what so many go through. That’s why I’m doing this — to raise awareness, to support life-saving research, and to hopefully make a difference, even in a small way.
