Together we walk, for Pete

Team Milnes is on the march again.
The 2026 walk will be the third time we’ve taken on The Banham Marsden March together—but this year will feel especially poignant. Earlier this year, we lost our commander-in-chief, Pete Milnes: a truly inspirational guy who achieved so much and loved by those who knew him.
Pete was a long-term patient of the wonderful Royal Marsden, and he is the reason this team exists and why we are walking. His strength, humour, and determination carried us through the previous marches, and this year, we will walk proudly in his memory.
The nurses, doctors, researchers, and support teams at The Royal Marsden made an enormous difference to Pete’s life. The care he received gave him time and he would not have been with us for as long as he was without the wonderful people at the trust.
We want to make Pete proud by raising as much money as we possibly can in his name.
If you’re able, please support us and donate whatever you can. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps.
Thank you. For Pete.
