The Soul Sisters Sponsored Walk for The Royal Marsden
On 10th May 2026, we’ll be taking on a 15‑mile sponsored walk from The Royal Marsden in Chelsea all the way to The Royal Marsden in Sutton, a journey between two places that mean the world to us. We’re doing this to raise money for a hospital that has played a life‑saving role in all our lives.
Our shared experiences make this walk deeply meaningful. The Royal Marsden is not just a hospital; it is a lifeline. It has treated Sandie through three different cancers, supported Helen through stage 4 melanoma, cared for Debbie during two episodes of breast cancer, and saved Fran, Sarah’s daughter, life after she was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour. And while Jo and Marguerite have not faced cancer themselves, they have stood beside us, and their own loved ones, through the heartbreak this disease brings.
The Royal Marsden’s extraordinary care, expertise and relentless commitment to research give people hope, time and second chances. Their teams continue to lead groundbreaking work to develop better treatments, improve survival rates and, ultimately, find cures. Every pound raised supports this life‑saving mission. Their doctors, nurses, and staff are truly exceptional, what they do every day for patients and families is nothing short of remarkable.
Walking this route together means more than reaching a finish line. Throughout all our journies we have supported one another through fear, uncertainty and recovery, and doing this side by side reflects everything we’ve survived together. This walk is not just a challenge (mainly to our vocal cords!), it is a celebration of survival, friendship, gratitude and hope for everyone still fighting.
