Why are we doing this?
The beginning of this month (February) marks the anniversary of Alistair's op to remove prostate cancer.
Throughout the past year and a bit, Alistair has been under the care of the wonderful Royal Marsden and they even looked after a wobbly wife while waiting for him to come back from the operating theatre!
We've decided we'd like to give back to them and so have committed to doing the 15 mile walk at the beginning of May - to be honest, we saw the poster at the Marsden in Chelsea a few months after the operation but thought it might be a little too soon!
This year there is no excuse and we're both going for it.
If you would like to support the Royal Marsden and feel you are able to. Please donate here, if you are a tax payer please consider adding gift aid. It doesn't cost you anymore but will give more to the Royal Marsden.
