Walking a bloody long way! For mum, for dad, and in honour of Tony and so many others.

This March, I’ll be walking to raise money for the incredible Royal Marsden hospital, who’ve been a lifeline to my mum, my dad, my friends Tony and Emma Perren, and so many others.

The Marsden recently operated on my mum to remove a huge tumour, and she’s now undergoing chemotherapy. They treat my Dad for prostate cancer, and they also cared for Tony, who tragically lost his battle with cancer just weeks ago. Tony leaves behind my best friend Emma and their three beautiful boys, Luke, Ernie, and Harry.

The one thing everyone says about the Royal Marsden (without exception) is how extraordinary their care is. From the nurses and doctors to the volunteers in the café and shop, everyone at the hospital gives their all to make you feel safe, supported, and cared for during the toughest times.

But this level of care doesn’t come without cost. The hospital relies on fundraising to keep going, and that’s why we’re walking; to ensure they can continue to provide world-class treatment and comfort to every family that needs them.
