Together We Walk ✨
We are walking to honour all those treated at the Royal Marsden and those fighting or lost to cancer, but mostly in memory of Nick Kelly 🪽💫 — our much-loved Dad / friend, a truly special person who meant so much to so many.
Nick faced his illness with strength, warmth, and an unwavering sense of humour that stayed with him even during the hardest days. Throughout his journey, the care he received was nothing short of extraordinary. The team who supported him didn’t just treat his condition — they cared for him as a person, bringing kindness, dignity, and compassion into every moment.
In his final weeks especially, that care made an immeasurable difference. What could have been an overwhelmingly difficult time was instead filled with love, comfort, and genuine human connection. For that, we will always be deeply grateful.
We are taking on this walk not only to honour Nick’s memory, but also to support the incredible work of The Royal Marsden. Their staff go above and beyond every single day — delivering world-class treatment, pioneering research, and, just as importantly, offering emotional support to patients and families when they need it most.
The Royal Marsden is at the forefront of cancer care, combining cutting-edge science with deeply personal compassion. Their work gives hope, improves lives, and ensures that no one faces cancer alone.
By supporting this cause, we hope to give something back in Nick’s name — and to help ensure that others receive the same outstanding care that meant so much to him, and to us.
