Together we walk!

My strong, inspiring Mum and I will be supporting The Royal Marsden, to raise money and awareness for a world-leading cancer centre.   On  Sunday 10th May we will be taking part in the Banham March walking 15 miles from Chelsea to Sutton to help raise money for a fantastic charity.

We can vouch for how  The Royal Marsden make a difference to  not only there patients but also there  connected family & friends.

Mum and I took part in this charity event 2 years ago as Mum had previously been treated for   Chronic Lymph Cancer and we wanted to give back.

Mum was at her fittest at this time, however ironically weeks after we completed the walk mum was diagnosed with throat cancer which was devasting for us all.    She had to have gruelling months of both chemotherapy and radiotherapy  back at The Royal Marsden. 

Yet again The Royal Marsden where amazing in every way.    I can't explain how fantastic everyone who works at The Royal Marsden are.  Whether that be trained professionals or the fantastic  volunteers who are dedicated and committed.

My Mum has always been   a  true inspiration to me  but going through this with her has just reconfirmed what an inspirational, strong lady she really is.

So please please help us raise money  for The Royal Marsden.
