Together we walk!

Hi there, all! Thanks for visiting our page! We're walking to support The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre.

Last year, me and Susan did the Royal Marsden March. With thanks to everyone's support, together we managed to reach the finish line and raise a whooping £2400 plus Gift Aid! I am delighted to let you know we will be doing the walk again this year on Sunday 11th May!

My Mum was diagnosed with breast cancer in October 2023. Thanks to the brilliant work the Marsden have done, the cancer was diagnosed early via mammogram and treated quickly, giving Mum the all clear just before Christmas of 2023. I am very pleased to be able to say that my Mum is joining me and Susan on the walk this year along with my sister Becca! We will also be walking in memory of Philip Robinson, Susan's stepdad who sadly passed away in March 2024 from prostate cancer. The Marsden were extremely supportive of Philip, Susan and the rest of the family during Philip's two years of treatment.

There is still more work we can do to help and this is where you all come in! By donating to our page, the nurses, doctors, and research teams can provide the very best care and develop life-saving treatments, which are used across the UK and around the world.
