As most of you reading this already know, in June 2019 my world collapsed around me when Andrew, was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma.
As both an in and out patient of the Royal Marsden Children and Young Person unit and then over to Adult Day Care, when he reached the ripe old age of 25, I honestly cannot praise this hospital enough!
The care, compassion and empathy shown from the start of this journey has been nothing but outstanding. Now 5 years in remission Andrew, his girlfriend Leah and I take this walk on to give back to the hospital that saved his life. We express deep gratitude for the compassionate care provided by Royal Marsden Hospital.
Today, we walk in recognition and reward of the amazing Royal Marsden, whose ongoing research promises to find the ultimate cure for this devastating disease.
