A message from Paul

We’re having a crack at the Marsden March this year. We have done it before, but this time it’s a bit more personal. At last year’s Marsden March I was in bed in the Royal Marsden Hospital with lots of tubes whilst in recovery from major surgery. I could hear the noise of the crowds outside the hospital and promised myself that if I was able to I would do the March in 2026 I would have a go.
In November 2024 I was diagnosed with Esophageal cancer.  I had to have several rounds of chemotherapy and major surgery. It is without doubt that the surgeons and nursing staff at the hospital saved my life.
