Together we walk!

I’m walking to support The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre. By donating to my page, their nurses, doctors, and research teams can provide the very best care and develop life-saving treatments, which are used across the UK and around the world. 

Some of you may know that my partner (now fiancé) Reanne was diagnosed with breast cancer a couple of years ago – quite a shock at age 27! She took almost an entire year off sick and spent most of that year going back and forth to the Royal Marsden. The compassion, patience, and good humour of the incredible team at the Marsden buoyed us both through the highs and lows of the cancer rollercoaster, and through it all we had the peace of mind of knowing that she was getting the best treatment possible. Reanne was offered extra scans, genetic testing for gene variants we’d never heard of, new medication regimes, and screening for cutting edge cancer trials. If there was anything that could be done to improve her quality of life throughout and beyond treatment, the Royal Marsden were able to do it.

Not everyone who goes through cancer will be lucky enough to have the experience she had. We want to pay it forward so that the Marsden can keep doing the amazing work they do for as many people as possible. On the 11th of May, we’ll be walking from the Royal Marsden in Chelsea to their main hospital in Sutton. Together, we can transform the lives of cancer patients. Please support me today.
