Together we walk!
I’m walking with my oldest son, Chris, to support The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre in memory of my son Nicholas, my Mum Veronica and to say thank you that I am well and here to take part !
Three generations of my family have been treated at The Royal Marsden in Sutton.
My lovely Mum died from breast cancer in 2007 having first been treated at The Marsden back in 1988 with her breast cancer returning in early 2004.
My amazing and brave middle son was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia in 2005 and died in 2006 from Haemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis (a very rare blood disease) and Leukaemia.
In 2019 I was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
Donating to my page, will ensure the nurses, doctors, and research teams can provide the very best care and develop life-saving treatments, which are used across the UK and around the world. Together, we can transform the lives of cancer patients. Please support me in any way you can.
